Fear and snorkling in Key West

Today we started day early. (Good, because S. was again up at 4am.) Cool breakfast at our Favourite Starbuck's; they open at 6am, perfect.
Then off to Key West! The journey by bus took about four hours. We drove through tens of islands and saw amazingly long bridges. And the water! Bright and so low that one could walk almost all the way!
We arrived to the Keys just before noon and had The most awesome drinks ever, at Durty Harry's. Our bartender Mike was cool, funny and introduced us for other customer as Finland's ambassadors. (Yeh, we felt as Borat.) After having a great time, we had take-away pizza-slizes form the next door and headed to the catamaran. The boat took us all the way to the only living coral reef in US, about 7miles from Key West. On the way we heard that there were many jelly-fishes stalking in the sea. As S. has an allergic to almost everything that bites or burns, she got really nervous. With the crew we agreed that it's save to go to water. And it was. Because she spent 99% of the time avoiding those crappy creatures. And A, as The Jedi Warrior, was a tru human shield. (As our lovely crew-member said.) S. was slightly panicking infront tons of jellyfish, but A. took even a burn when pushing S. away. He is the BEST!
But we shouldn't forget the real point: the trip wasn't just scary, it was worth every second. The corals were wonderful and the fish! There were small ones, medium ones, together and alone. Silver, black, yellow and the last, huge and colored electric blue!
And the most cool thing, believe it or not, we didn't get any sunburns. Thank's to our dry (here one get's them!) spray lotion, SPF 50. We bought the bottle on our way to the boat and it ran out when we returned. Best ever used 12,99$. Really!
Trip was totally one of the best ever. (And included free drinks after snorkling. Good.) This was one of those unreal days. We couldn't believe the beauty of the sea, weather and the protected nature. Significant.
On our way to catch the bus back to Miami Beach, we had one more drink's at Mike's.
So the evening came and bus took us back to Sobe.
