Exploring Philadelhia

Weather: +33 RealFeel HOT
Humidity: 62%, RealFeel 80%

We woke up very early to get ready for huge walking tour around the city. This city is very cosy for pedestrians and all places are relatively near each other. Perfect!
After breakfast we started by going to the famous Rocky Steps! Weather felt even a bit cool in the early morning but NO- it became hottest ever! In burning sunlight we walked the Benjamin Franklin Parkway from end to end. The street has flag's on its both sides and we so Finland's flag aswell. We rose the stairs; in nature those looked smaller but when we ran them up, it was quite a long way!
From there we headed to historic district and went to see The Liberty Bell. Those familiar with HIMYM, knows that "lickin' the Liberty bell" was actually one of the reasons for us to visit Philly. Whole Independence Mall area was beautiful with its old buildings and flowers.
We wrote postcards and had drinks at the nicest bar Rotten Ralph's in the corner on Chestnut and Bank. From there we checked out the seaside, and Penn's landing, which unfortunately was empty in Friday afternoon. There were though stages and food bars but all were closed.
So we continued to the Society Hill. That area reminded us a lot of London. Houses looked the same, atmosphere was same kind and there were several UK-looking (and feeling) Pubs. We had short break there at the Artful Dodger. We had drinks, as well A tasted their crab cake (AWESOME).
After break we walked the South Street all the way to Washington Square District. There are more shops and restaurants, we stopped by in a few. Aften ten hours of exploring Philadelphia, we walked back to the hotel to get ready for Friday Night Dinner.
