We left LA this morning. We ordered a cab from the hotel last night and what a cab we got! We rode our way to LAX in a Lincoln limousine!
Flight was half an hour delayed, but we still got to Washington DC. on time. (this time 16:45, LA time 13:45).
This city has been the awesomest from the first moment on. The hotel, Washington Plaza, is like a paradise on Earth. Our room has the largest bedroom, bathroom, BALCONY and the biggest king bed seen on our tour. Staff is the most kindest, and we even got fruits, cheeses and sparkling wine to our room in the meanwhile we enjoyed the pool. We ran there right after our latish arrival about 18:30. (Orlando, from the front desk, arranged beverages, we love him!)
We had tasty drinks and hanged at the pool with nice locals & staff (pool's view: Thomas Circle and two beautiful curches) until it got dark. Then we took a refreshing shower and headed for a dinner a couple blocks away.
First feelings about WDC:
I love you, nice weather (not so hot that it was in the South), adorable people & good food.
