Active is today's word. In the morning we walked to the Rockefeller Plaza's NBC Studios for tickets for Late Nite with Jimmy Fallon. We got stand by-tickets with numbers 9 & 10 and we were told to return in the afternoon. We had to wait until that, so we'd find out do we get the see the show.
With our tickets, we got Take away-breakfast and headed to Central Park. Weather was lovely, but very chilly in the morning. Mornig at the park was beautiful and it was one of the many moments to remember.
After we finished breakfast, we went straight East, to Sutton Place. From there we rode the Island Tram to Roosevelt Island. The tram went a lot above The East River and almost above the whole Brooklyn Bridge (also the highest holders). A was happy, S concentrated on photographing and not looking down. We walked in the Island for a while and then we took the tram back to Manhattan side.
We returned to Central park and had Ben & Jerry's ice creams, touhg it was warm again at noon. On our way back to the hotel, we checked Bloomingdale's on Lexington Ave and shops located on Madison Ave. As we got back to our room, we quickly (this happens everyday) changed clothes and went back to NBC Studios.
We checked in with our numbered tickets and crossed our fingers while standing the waiting line...
Yes, we got to see the show live! And, because with us nothing ever is less than awesome, we (among ten other young dudes&dudettes) were picked out from the line. The task was to jam behind the guest band during their play.
Legendary, we actually were at the LN with Jimmy Fallon Show tonight! :D We laughed a lot, so much fun!
Shooting took several hours, so after filming was over, we had a dinner and headed to sleep walking down 7th Ave. Many of the lightwalls honored 11th Anniversary of tragic 9/11.
